reading response part 1 The Invention of Hugo Carbet

The book The Invention of Hugo Cabret seems like a nice book so far only because it looks like it’s going to keep me interested, literally. This book is full of images and this book also got a gold medal. I haven’t read too much of this book yet but I already know the plot and it is good. I’ll definitely finish this book by next Sunday and have a full reading response based on the full book instead of half movie half book.
When I started reading this book I thought it was only going to be images but it wasn't.  It had images and then after a few images it would have a description on what was going on in the images. Like at the beginning of the book, Hugo tried to steal a toy from the store. This is what the images was showing, a little boy scared, then a little boy running, then a little book being grabbed by an old man (owner of the store). I forgot the movie and I was wondering what was going on and then the book gave me a description.
I like the idea of this kind of book. It isn’t like other books because it has a lot of images and then a chapter. Most books don’t have pictures but the books that do only have a few, and I’m not talking about children’s books. This book is a major motion picture book. If I were to flip through the book I’d probably remember a lot of the movie.
In Conclusion, I’m not too far into the book yet and will progress rapidly in the next few days. This is a great way to make a book especially if the book is made because of the movie or vice versa. I will probably make a book like this in the future if I am an author.

  1. I believe that the author specifically made the book to have many pictures, cause the the text wouldn't be enough. When I mean enough I mean not enough so the reader can envision all the action happening in the book. I made me think that when I first got the book, It would last me 2 days straight. But when thought about whats happening in every single page. Then I thought what it meant. Every time Hugo would run away with the toys, his facial emotions bring ou the picture.
