Lament

The book lament was not one of my favorite books; in fact it was one of the worst books I read this year. I can say that because I’ve been reading very good books this year like the very intriguing series, the hunger games and other books like the Invention of Hugo Carbet and other really awesome graphic novels. I know that this book is really boring and that you should only read this his book if you can’t go to sleep at night. This book was just not for me, it was slow paced and there wasn’t enough action, instead there was a lot of dialogue. The characters would say stuff, not do. I know the author tried to put some humor into the book but that’s where I think she messed up. Well, I’ll stop criticizing this book because there were still some good parts like when Dillon was in danger; I only think that, that part was good was because there was some action. I can’t lie; there was a good amount of action but still not enough. If they tried to put in more action like the Percy Jackson series or like the Hunger Games series, the book could have been close to the top of my good books list, if I had one.

  1. Yeah, it's hard to want to keep reading slow paced, action-less books, but you had a lot to say and it was a good post.
